This last Squadron photograph was taken in 1957, after I had left and just before the Duncan Sandys Defence White Paper decimated 2nd TAF and cause the disbanding of the squadron. The occasion in this photograph is the visit of Sir Godfrey Huggins, Prime Minister of Rhodesia. He is central in the picture, wearing a three piece suit. His son, John Huggins, a Flight Commander on the squadron is standing to his left. The squadron commander, George Baxter is standing to his right. There are eight Rhodesian pilots in the picture a ninth, Roy Morris has already left to join a Hunter squadron.
